Technology should make people more capable—not less necessary.
Knowtion was founded in 2017 by Sanjay Parker after more than two decades inside enterprise technology, innovation and transformation. The idea was simple: let technology handle repetition, scale, compute and 24/7 availability—then create more room for people to exercise judgment, build relationships, recognize the larger pattern and invent what comes next.

KNOWTION
The idea started with a contradiction.
At Xerox, Sanjay led thought leadership and innovation work in an environment where technology and automation were producing extraordinary efficiency. During one intense transformation period, the workforce contracted from roughly 220,000 people to 110,000 in about three years.
The savings were real. So was the human cost—jobs disappeared, careers changed and families absorbed the consequences. The experience changed the question from “What can technology eliminate?” to “What should technology enable?”
In 2017, Sanjay left the corporate world and started Knowtion around a more balanced model: use technology aggressively where machines have the advantage, while protecting and expanding the work where people create the most value.
TECHNOLOGY DOES BEST
Scale the repeatable.
- Repetitive tasks & workflow
- Large-scale compute
- 24/7 monitoring & availability
- Data processing & routing
- Consistency at speed
PEOPLE DO BEST
See the larger picture.
- Relationships & trust
- Judgment in context
- Creativity & invention
- Large-frame pattern recognition
- Leadership, empathy & change
Built on enterprise scale.
Delivered without enterprise bureaucracy.
Knowtion did not begin as a small-company experiment in technology. It was built after years of leading complex platforms, global teams, enterprise innovation programs and large client relationships.
Enterprise technology at EY
From technology management through product architecture and Americas deployment, Sanjay worked on enterprise networks, digital learning, streaming, portals and technology rollouts—including required training deployment to 23,000+ employees.
Innovation leadership at ACS / Xerox
Roles progressed from global technology account leadership to Director of Innovation and VP of Thought Leadership, spanning F500 strategy, software, cloud, cybersecurity, IoT, digital transformation and large-scale delivery.
Knowtion
A technology partner built to integrate with client teams, prove value early and stay accountable for outcomes—from managed IT and ERP rescue to custom software, AI, analytics and digital growth.

Strategy stays close.
Delivery scales globally.
Knowtion combines U.S.-led strategy, client accountability and business context with a 26-person India-based team focused on AI, software development and technology delivery.
The model gives clients access to deeper technical capacity without separating delivery from the people responsible for the business outcome. The team operates as part of Knowtion—not as a handoff to an anonymous third party.
Applied AI, workflow automation, data and emerging-product engineering.
Custom applications, integrations, modernization, mobile and product development.
QA, support, platform operations and the technical work required to keep initiatives moving.
Business problems first.
Technology second.
Tools change constantly. The principles behind good technology work do not.
01
Start with the business friction.
We begin with the workflow, risk, cost, customer experience or growth constraint—not a product we want to sell.
02
Own the messy middle.
Knowtion is comfortable inheriting undocumented software, failed migrations, fragmented vendors and technology nobody wants to own.
03
Prove value early.
Reduce uncertainty with assessments, pilots, POCs and measurable operating improvements before expanding the engagement.
04
Stay after launch.
We can advise, build, operate and continuously improve—so the client is not left holding another orphaned technology asset.
One philosophy.
Four ways we apply it.
Whether we are protecting infrastructure, repairing an ERP, modernizing a codebase or generating digital demand, the goal is the same: remove technology friction and create measurable capacity for the business.

Technology problems are rarely just technology problems.
Sanjay’s academic work at Case Western Reserve University crossed psychology, chemistry, biology, computer science and music, with additional music study at the Cleveland Institute of Music. That combination still shows up in how Knowtion approaches work: understand the human system, understand the technical system, then look for the larger pattern connecting them.
Bring us the problem behind the technology.
Tell us what is repetitive, fragmented, unreliable, expensive or slowing people down. We will help determine what should be automated, improved, built—or left human.
