Construction & Engineering Technology Solutions
Systems that keep contractors qualified, projects moving & platforms reliable.
Knowtion helps construction and engineering organizations build and operate contractor training and compliance platforms, modernize inherited applications, automate project workflows, support users, host mission-critical systems and turn digital processes into dependable operating infrastructure.
Knowtion combines software engineering, platform operations and support so critical contractor and project workflows keep working after the initial build.
Four outcomes. Less friction between the field, office, contractors and technology.
Construction technology is most valuable when it simplifies real operating work: proving qualifications, distributing project information, supporting users, integrating vendors and keeping specialized applications reliable. Knowtion focuses on those mission-critical handoffs.
CERTIFY
Turn training and compliance into an operating system.
Centralize contractor training, certification status, attendance, approvals and records so qualified people can get to work without spreadsheet-driven administration.
OPERATE
Give mission-critical platforms accountable ownership.
Combine hosting, monitoring, help desk, application support and ongoing engineering so the platform has an operator—not just a developer who disappears after launch.
MODERNIZE
Rescue specialized applications without starting over.
Take over inherited ecommerce, plan-room and workflow applications; stabilize the code and hosting; then add automation, digital delivery and integrations where they create value.
MEASURE
Make project and operating data easier to act on.
Connect workflow, training, ecommerce, project and operational data into clearer dashboards, automation and management visibility instead of another manual reporting process.
Two platforms. One pattern: take ownership and keep improving.
Knowtion’s construction and engineering work goes beyond project delivery. We operate, support and evolve systems that contractors and project teams depend on every day.
A system of record for contractor qualification.
AT&T came to Knowtion to innovate, host and operate the Alliance Partner NAT training and certification platform. The system coordinates training, approvals, certification records and support for contractors working on AT&T facilities.
Knowtion provides the software innovation, hosting/operations and help-desk accountability around the platform. Contractor ecosystems have included organizations such as Beck, Roebbelen and Gilbane.
An inherited ecommerce platform became a more automated digital plan room.
When Verdantas’ prior vendor exited the ecommerce business, Knowtion took over the specialized Plan Room rather than forcing a disruptive replacement. We stabilized the platform and continued to manage and innovate it.
The live Plan Room supports current bids, online purchasing and digital project documents for prime contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers and manufacturers.
How much of your critical workflow still depends on manual handoffs or orphaned systems?
Rate four areas that often create risk and administrative drag. You will see the result immediately; no email is required.

- Designed to identify the best place to simplify or modernize first
Take ownership first. Improve continuously.
Whether the problem is contractor compliance, an inherited ecommerce platform or a custom workflow, Knowtion starts by understanding the operating dependency before changing the technology.
Assess
Understand the users, contractors, workflows, code, hosting, integrations, data, support load and business risks around the platform.
Stabilize
Secure ownership, fix reliability and support gaps, document the environment and make sure critical work can continue.
Innovate
Automate, integrate, improve the user experience and add functionality based on measurable operating value.
Questions teams ask when specialized platforms become business-critical.
Can Knowtion build and operate contractor training and certification platforms?
Yes. Knowtion develops and operates custom training, compliance and certification workflows, including the AT&T APNAT environment used to coordinate contractor training, records and certification at scale.
Can Knowtion take over a platform from another vendor?
Yes. Knowtion can assess an inherited application, hosting, code, integrations, ecommerce and support requirements, stabilize the environment and create an improvement roadmap without forcing a rebuild.
Can Knowtion support digital plan rooms and project-document ecommerce?
Yes. Knowtion can support online purchasing, digital document delivery, project access, workflow automation and the specialized integrations surrounding bidding and plan-room operations.
Can Knowtion provide hosting and help-desk support for a custom system?
Yes. Software engineering can be paired with hosting, monitoring, platform operations and user support so there is one accountable partner for both the application and the people using it.
Do we have to replace our existing construction software?
No. Knowtion can work around systems that already perform well, integrate them, automate manual handoffs and build or rescue only the components where standard platforms or existing vendors leave a gap.
Stabilize the platform. Simplify the process. Keep improving.
Start with contractor compliance, project commerce, an inherited custom application or another workflow your teams depend on.
